Big Brothers Big Sisters employees took the day on September 30 to work with Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity by painting the exterior of a house as part of their “A Brush With Kindness” program. 

Week of Action was sponsored by United Way of Central Minnesota, Central Minnesota Community Foundation and St. Cloud Times and was designed to bring people together to volunteer on special community projects in towns throughout Central Minnesota.

A Brush With Kindness (ABWK) is an exterior home preservation program through Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity that provides painting, landscaping and minor repair services for homeowners in need. ABWK helps low-income homeowners, impacted by age, disability and family circumstances, who struggle to maintain the exterior of their homes, reclaim their homes with pride and dignity.
