Guest Speakers: Dr. Stephen Below and Todd Kalis, co-authors of a book titled Pigskin Dreams. The book reports on the people, places and events that forged the character of the NFL's greatest players.   Dr. Stephen Below is an Todd Kalis is a veteran of entrepreneur, national the National Football speaker, and writer. League and a former MN Vikings player.
The Magic Moments Ball hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota is one of our annual special events. The Spring Event & Silent Auction has gained the reputation of having wonderful and unique ambience and dining options with an equally unique and varied auction, along with live music. This wonderful event, along with the fact that Big Brothers Big Sisters provides a very timely and vital service to the children and families of our communities, is the reason that people from central Minnesota representing all walks of life, attend. Tickets: $75.00 per person Private Table: $600 for 8 tickets
Event Sponsor: $1,000 Includes reserved table with sign, half page program ad, recognition on the program video, and recognition on event materials. $5,000 Includes two reserved tables with signs, a full-page ad in the Magic Moments Ball program, recognition on the program video, major recognition on radio spots and event materials/promotions. BBBS Golf Event
BBBS Golf Tournament is the newest of Big Brothers Big Sisters annual special events. We hope you'll join us for the 2010 Golf Event on Monday June 21st at Territory Golf Club. Dairy Days at Cash WiseJune Dairy Days is one of Big Brothers Big Sisters’ annual special events. This is a fun time to help out Big Brothers Big Sisters and sell cheeseburgers, milk, and root beer floats! Specific information for 2010 June Dairy Days will be posted in 2010. Bowl For Kids Sake
Bowl For Kids' Sake was a great success thanks to all of you! More than 225 bowlers participated in this year's event, held October 23, 24, and 25 at Granite Bowl South. In keeping with the “Going Green” event theme, all bowlers received a recycling bag filled with promotional items from partnering businesses, and lots of exciting prizes were awarded throughout the three-day event.
If you missed Bowl For Kids' Sake this year, we hope you will be able to join us next year. We have reserved the weekend of October 22, 23 and 24 for our 2010 Bowl For Kids’ Sake event, so mark your calendar now!

 Volunteer Recognition Dinner
Attention all Volunteers. We’d like to thank you for making a BIG difference! Please join us for a celebration of appreciation as we honor your dedication and commitment to Big Brothers Big Sisters and the children of central Minnesota at our annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner. This will be held on Tuesday, March 23 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the St. Cloud Public Library. Dinner is served from 5 to 6:15 and the program begins at 6:30 p.m. The dinner is catered and donated by Mexican Village. All Bigs are invited, as well as their Littles, but Littles may only attend if their Big is attending. School/Site-Based Littles will need to meet their Big at the event as their Big is not allowed to transport them. It is not required that your Little attend for you (the Big) to attend.

As a reminder, the Bigs’ Socials are now quarterly. The social following the January event will be in April 2010.
Sugar and Spice on Ice
The St. Cloud Figure Skating Club would like to invite you to attend a very special event. On Saturday, March 20, at 1:30 p.m. skaters from the club will present Sugar and Spice on Ice at the Municipal Athletic Complex (MAC) ice rink. Last year over 300 people attended this event. Summer Match Activity: Great Minnesota Air Show
The United States Navy's “Flight Demonstration Squadron”, known as The Blue Angels, will perform this summer in St. Cloud at the St. Cloud Regional Airport on June 26 and 27. The air show will also feature regional and national aviation performers as well as exhibits and vendors on the airport grounds. Minnesota Swarm Tickets
All community based matches have an opportunity to see the MN Swarm, the men's Lacrosse team, play the Colorado Mammoths on February 20th at 7:35 pm. They play at the Excel Center in St. Paul. Bigs pay $22 (tickets are normally $42) and Littles go for free. Tickets must be reserved in advance. Call Dayna at 651-312-3466 to buy tickets that can be picked up at will call the day of the event.
Going Downtown History Hunt
 Plan to join us for the "Going Downtown History Hunt" introducing the History Hound who will guide young and old alike on a journey into the past when pioneers set in motion the creation of a magical place - St. Cloud's Downtown. Big Brothers Big Sisters has partnered with the St. Cloud Downtown Council and is encouraging Bigs, Littles, and their families to attend this FREE event. This event is open to the public, so invite your friends and plan to join us! Enjoy free trolley rides, a scavenger hunt, historic architecture, window displays featuring 19th century collections from the Stearns History Museum, prizes for all ages and so much more! Discover the vision of the early settlers as you explore our turn of the last century old town center.
